Caffi Red Bourbon comes from the Atzumpa farm in El Salvador. The coffee grows near the Guatemalan border in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountains at an altitude of 1400 meters. Red Bourbon is one of the most reliable and excellent coffees in the coffee world, it is grown especially in Central America.
Caffi’s roast for the washed Atzumpa is a light medium roast. The roast supports the characteristic caramel and chocolatey notes of Atzumpa coffee, but at the same time, Caffi’s roast also seeks a clean, balanced aftertaste and a full-bodied mouthfeel.
TASTE NOTES:
The coffee has a caramel-like sweetness and hints of chocolate and nuts. A careful taster can also find fine herbal nuances behind the ripe fruity aftertaste. The mouthfeel is round.
